Priddy Ugly has taken to his Twitter to pen down encouragement messages to SA Hip Hop.
The star stated that the musical genre has had it’s up and down and he is glad it is still moving well.
Priddy said that when the genre wasn’t popular to be claimed, they still embraced it.
He said: “Hip Hop, even when you were down & out, we still loved you. When it wasn’t popular to claim you, we still embraced you. When they made a mockery of you, & they pushed you to the side, we lifted you. In your shine, those who lurked in the shadows shouldn’t take your light.”
Many of his fans supported his tweet and hope to see more celebrities support the genre.
