Priddy Ugly says he’s not the only rapper carrying the South African Hip Hop industry.
Over the past years, the aforementioned genre is said to have crashed due to the rise of Amapiano.
Interestingly, Priddy finally got his flowers a few weeks ago after years of being mocked as a struggling rapper.
People woke to his rap skills and rated it one of the best in SA; he embraced the positive reviews and works on dropping a new EP.
A Twitter user eulogised Priddy Ugly days ago by saying the rapper and Blxckie are the rappers keeping hip hop alive.
Priddy appreciated the Twitter user but slammed the claim by mentioning other rappers who are actively keeping the genre stable and alive.
“Bless, but there’s a lot of dudes varying the torch – Maglera, Thato, Kilo, Tyson, Reece, Pdot, Touch, PJ Lepara, Nasty, a lot of the new school cats, there’s a lot… I’m just naming a few,” he responded.
