Cucumber is one of the most versatile fruits which you can enjoy as a whole, in salads, in sandwiches, and even in soups.

It should never be thrown away and experts suggest that one should always consume cucumbers with the peel on.
But, if you have some cucumber peels lying near you, there are 3 ways you can recycle them.
Popular Armenian vlogger Armen Adamjan has shared some of these hacks on his TikTok handle and they are very unique and helpful.
Here’s how you can recycle those unused cucumber peels, take a look.
1. Green cucumber water
If you want to see some fast growth in your countertop plants, then this hack will help you a lot. All you need to do is take some fresh cucumber peels and throw them in a jar. Fill it with water and cover it with a lid, and let the peels soak for 5 days. After 5 days, strain the water and throw these peels now. Use this magical water to promote healthy growth in the plants, as this water is rich in potassium and phosphorus, which are required for healthy plant growth. This water can be added to the plants once every 3 weeks and you can see the magic happening.
2. Cucumber peel ash
According to Armen, this ash works like magic to grow plants. All you need to do is dry the cucumber peels under the sun and when they are completely dry, light a matchstick and burn these dried peels. This will help turn the peels into ash. Sprinkle this cucumber peel ash in the soil in which the plant is growing. This helps in the faster growth of the plant as the nutrients are released faster.
3. Cucumber peels
You can directly place these cucumber peels in the soil of the plant and keep those ants away, which eat the leaves and damage the plant. The alkaloid present in cucumbers acts as a natural repellent. This way, you can save the plant by not throwing some peels.
