Zandie Khumalo gets emotional about her child, Zenala who will turn 1-year-old in September.
The singer penned down a lengthy note talking about how she was worried about motherhood and parenting.
However, Zandie’s husband was supportive through the journey and the baby boy will be turning 1 next month.
“My son is turning 1 year next month and I’m emotional and excited as hell……I had a lot of worries when I was pregnant like “Am I ready to be a mother, are we ready to be parents and what am I gonna teach him” and my husband asked me one question “MaKhumalo thina sobabili sake sahlulwa yini sihlangene”? And I wept.”
“I wept coz I knew he was right and he continued and said “If there’s one thing u need to worry about is whether he will be able to learn to differentiate between u and Mamkhulu/Godmother wakhe coz nifana ukufa” I wept again coz I didn’t see that happening at that time (Mamkhulu/Godmother meeting him) but today I thank God that they have actually,” she wrote.
