Phila Dlozi announced joining the Sony Music SA record label.
The musician had his major breakthrough in the music industry in 2021 after videos of him serenading in public space with his drum went viral.
Black Coffee and DJ Maphorisa hunted him and met with him.
Phila has released various songs featuring the likes of DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small.
Taking to Instagram, he expressed excitement about the new deal signed with one of SA’s major labels.
“It’s official @sonymusicafrica …… Goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life,” he wrote.
