Babes Wodumo explains why her son, Sponge Wodumo’s face is kept secret.
In 2021, the singer and her husband, Mampintsha welcomed their first child and named him Sponge because Mandla’s mom assumed Babes was not pregnant but kept sponge in her stomach.
Since the child was born, the couple has been very careful as they ensure his face is blocked any time, they share his photos or videos on social media.
According to Sunday World, the Gqom queen claims the reason they are yet to reveal Sponge face is because of safety reasons.
“We decided to not show Sponge’s face because of traditional and safety reasons. Bad things happen out there, and we would rather not regret them later,” said Babes.
