Pebetsi Matlaila has announced her return to radio.

The star is excited to pick up the microphone again  as she has joined radio station, Channel Africa.

Pebestsi said: “I am happy to be at SABC Radio Park headquarters. I host Chart Toppers every Saturday from noon to 2pm, and Midnight Snack, that airs from 12am to 2am every Monday”

She also shared that she was happy to return to what she loves.

“This is a full-circle for me. I started radio in 2005 when I was living in the USA. I got the opportunity to do presenting and production  on a community station in Harlem, New York, catering to Africans”

Pebetsi who has also worked on radio stations including UJ FM, Capricorn FM and Ubuntu radio left the airwaves for seven years to pursue acting.

“I was on break. I sent my demo to various stations yearly but I was never selected. Getting back into radio is an answered prayer bit I didn’t enjoy the season I was in for seven years while waiting for my chance, I would never have enjoyed acting”
