Shudu Musiḓa has expressed her excitement to be part of Glamour Women of The Year 2022.
The star shared the news on her Instagram and many of her fans are proud.
Shudu is a published author and mental health advocate and has used her platform as Miss SA 2020 to launch her platform MindfulMondays in partnership with SADAG to raise awareness around mental mental health, and continues to elevate the conversation.
She has also been appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Global Surgery Foundation.
Taking to her Instagram, she said she is grateful that her calling to be of service to both her village and humanity has led her here to be a mental health advocate.
“So this happened 🥹🤍🙏🏽I’ve always been a person of very few words because I had always been the girl at the back of the class hiding and never wanting to be seen. Answering my calling to be of service to both my village and humanity has led me here to be a mental health advocate. Thank you for always seeing me, hearing me, and in as much as every Monday was spent with me trying to remind you that you’re not alone and that it’s okay to not be okay , thank you for showing me that this girl that considered herself a loner is no longer a loner. I am now part of a bigger community geared towards change and a better world.”
Shudu said she is honoured to be part of this project.
“I was honoured amongst incredible change-makers and trailblazers. Congratulations to all the winners, I am so inspired by each and every one of you. Thank you so much to my @glamour_sa , to @niveasouthafrica family and to all of you for supporting the #mindfulmovement. ”
