Dr Malinga to help students with tertiary fee
Dr Malinga announces his bursary scheme which is aimed at helping students.
Months after receiving lots of help due to how SARS dealt with him, the musician said he had been bombarded with requests from people to help them.
Hence, he will be funding 5 students’ tertiary education.
Taking to social media, he said, “The students must come from disadvantaged backgrounds and must be in need of financial assistance. I will help these students to apply to a technical college and I will pay their fees. They will enroll for a diploma at a TVET college.”
“I must emphasise that this bursary is strictly for TVET college students and not university students.”
