Jazz legendary musician, Gloria Bosman has passed away.
The songwriter died at 50 after a short illness.
Bosman’s family confirmed her death in an official statement, saying that details about her memorial and funeral service will be shared in due course.
Gloria has shared the stage with musical greats; Hugh Masekela, Sibongile Khumalo, Moses Molelekwa and many others.
The music icon trends on social media as people and brands pay tribute to her.
“SABC has learnt with sadness the passing of South African jazz singer Gloria Bosman. Her immense contribution to the entertainment industry will never be forgotten. Condolences to Bosman family, friends and fans,” SABC wrote.
