Showmax's new reality show, I Want a Naija Boy causes a stir on social media. The show is between South African women and Nigerian men; it's still open for auditioning. The promotional trailer was shared on Showmax's official Instagram page and it's garnered reactions from South Africans. “Showmax has confirmed that they are currently casting for I Want A Naija Boy, a dating show that seeks to bring South Africans and Nigerians together and celebrate the diversity of the two African giants because love knows no borders," reveals Phil. "That black people at Showmax saw a pitch for ‘I Want A Naija Boy’ and said yes this is great content for the continent, baffles me. Nothing good will come out of this and only an ignorant person would ignore the culture tension between SA and Nigerians right now. Sad," entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela tweeted.
