Doctor Nandipha Magudumana reportedly rejected the offer of being part of the Real Housewives of Johannesburg season 3.
According to ZiMoja, the celebrity was Sonia Mbele’s first choice – Mbele was the show’s producer.
It was said that Magudumana’s lavish lifestyle was perfect for the show, but she turned the offer down.
“She embodied what the show is about… her beauty, young mother of two, successful career woman who is also married to a doctor,” former employee of the production company revealed to the publication.
“Sonia was disappointed because she really adored her but had to respect the fact that she wanted to live her life in peace. Little did we know that she was hiding a big secret,” the source says.
However, Nandipha has been arrested and is now in court after being caught in Tanzania with the prison escapee and convicted murderer, Thabo Bester.
Reacting to the reality show gig offered the doctor, Sonia said: “The woman I met is nothing compared to the woman I am reading about.”
