Boity Thulo is being appreciated by University graduates for the help received from her.
Last week Friday was graduation day for many, and some took to social media to celebrate the feat.
However, a few called out the businesswoman for the help rendered years ago while they were still in school.
“In 2018, Siyamthanda Dondolo took to Twitter and shared his plight of urgently needing a scientific calculator as he was starting his exams in a week. He needed R366.95 for the calculator and Boity reached out and sent him a R500 e-wallet. He graduated from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2019 and again this week as he graduated with his third qualification,” ZiMoja revealed.
“I will never forget what you’ve done for me and thank you for trusting me with your money, many didn’t,” he tweeted.
“Hi @Boity, not sure if u still remember me. Your kind gesture a year ago is one of the things that made this day possible. I graduated this morning. Thanks again. #CPUTSummerGrad2019,” Siya tweeted in December 2019.
“Update: I collected my 3rd qualification today. Things have been going well. Forever grateful @Boity,” he tweeted on Wednesday. Boity replied: “God bless you Siya! Congratulations and thank you so much for being such an incredible example!”
