Dineo Ranaka has been admitted into a Pretoria mental wellness centre
Dineo Ranaka has been reportedly admitted to a mental health institution in Pretoria due to her fight against depression.
Last week, the DJ opened up on the intention to take her life.
“I completely understand souls/spirits/people that commit suicide. I get it. I get them.” She went on to say that she is fighting the urge to commit suicide, but it is difficult. “Because I’m trying my best to not commit suicide, my mind is so loud of late…and I’m trying my best, but it seems my best is not enough,” she shared.
Friends and family who got the message which she shared on Instagram showed her love and tried helping her.
A close friend of the DJ confirmed to ZiMoja that she is getting treatment.
“She appreciates all the messages she has received from everyone. She hasn’t been able to respond to everyone, but she is fighting,” he says. “She is really fighting. She is in Pretoria at the clinic from today. She will be okay,” he adds. “Dineo is a fighter; everyone knows that.”
