In march photos of his desecrated tombstone surfaced on social media, and it got people talking.

Speaking to TshishaLIVE, the musician’s brother, Koketso “DJ Cooper” Mosoeu said, “It was difficult because it was not long after we buried him that tragic thing happened. We don’t even have answers as to who did that, we wondered whether taking his life was not enough for them. It hurt.”

The posthumous birthday of the barcardi star was marked with a new tombstone.

“Everything went well. There were no fights, there was no chaos, or anything to do with guns and everyone felt safe because the police were there. We had asked them to be present at the event. The community was also helpful, they even helped to clean up after the unveiling.”
