1. Ask your husband to earn your trust back

You can’t just give all your trust to your husband, just after he’s lost all of it. It takes time, patience and a lot of commitment and convincing to earn trust back. Asking for security in a marriage is not demanding but what you require.

If you have learned of his infidelity, confront him, but calmly. Take your time to process your emotions because confronting your husband while you’re angry and devastated might bring out words that you may not have wanted to say.

3. Communicate

This cannot be stressed enough-COMMUNICATE. This is the key to solving any problem. So before you completely lash out at your husband, calmly communicate your feelings and then decision to them.

4. Take others’ advice

When you are unable to communicate with your husband and vice versa, involving a close family member or friend might be a good solution. A professional expert can also be a good idea because they will give you much-needed direction and guidance in such situations.

5. Forgiving and trusting are different things

Most people make a mistake when they believe forgiving their cheating husbands means letting them back into their lives. This shouldn’t be the case. Your husband has to earn your trust first, forgiveness doesn’t mean you have given them the permission to enter back into your life. Know the difference.
