Msaki whose real name is Asanda Lusaseni Mvana hosted an art exhibition themed Del’ukufa.
The singer exhibited her artwork at the National Art Festival; she displayed 13 drawings, 4 videos and ended the event with a closing ritual.
She shared photos from the exhibition on social media and appreciated people who were at the exhibition.
“Wow! Thank you to everyone that has been to my exhibition “Del’ukufa” at the Monument at @nationalartsfestival. Feels surreal to show this side of my artistry alongside my music. A special thank to my dear friend Simphiwe Ndzube @ndzube_studio , who shared his LA studio with me so that I could work on the 2D work. Thank you to the NAF visual team for handling my space and my story with so much care. I’m marked by your gentleness,” she wrote.
“We closed the space today with a gentle gratitude ritual. I ask that love seal ’s everyone’s heart that has been in the space. May the water move within us and through us. We move with much gratitude having received so much healing and connection over this ritual,” Msaki added.
