Lamiez Holworthy opens up on the reason Durban July 2023 was special.
The annual event was star-studded as expected and many came serving various fashion statements; meanwhile, a majority tried matching the event’s theme which states, Out of this World.
The DJ who welcomed her bundle of joy a few months ago rocked a silver dress, showing off her postpartum body.
Speaking about why it was special, she wrote:
“This year’s Durban July was special and I’ll tell you why, I just got back from maternity leave and have slowly been trying to ease back into things, being fully booked and being able to travel with my son has been such a blessing. My mom is super hands-on and has helped my husband and I juggle both work and parenting and someday? Someday, he is going to be so proud of the hardworking woman that I am and I pray that he knows that it is all for him.”
“I also struggled a lot with my self-esteem and my confidence took a real knock but Saturday? for once in a very long time, I felt absolutely beautiful. 🥹 thank you @sihle_the_designer for putting together this masterpiece.”
