What is it? Well, the study says women want to feel comfortable on their first date. Here are all the details of this study.

The study

The dating site Match.com surveyed more than 5,000 singles that belonged to different income groups, ethnicities, sexual orientations and asked them questions related to love life, casual dating, the experience of first dates, etc.

The finding

Interestingly, 79 per cent of the women confessed they wanted to feel ‘comfortable’ on their first date. Talking about the turn-ons for women on the first date, being complimented topped the list.

Other turn-ons

Other things that please women on the first date included their date insisting on paying the bill, waiting for them before they arrived, hugging them while saying hello and kissing on the cheek.

The turn-offs

The turnoff included the date checking his phone, being more than fifteen minutes late, having more than two drinks, ordering food for them and being rude to the restaurant’s staff.

The ingredients of good consensual sex

The study also came up with five ingredients that were essential for great consensual sex. What were those? Well, the participants emphasised on having a caring, enthusiastic and communicative partner. The other two factors were being a good kisser and the ability to make a partner orgasm.

The sexual turn offs

The common things that turned off both the genders included talking too much during the deed and not being passionate.
