South Africans are disappointed in Tamia for mixing up city names during her concert.
The international singer kicked off a music tour in SA and it started last week, with Lloyiso as her supporting act.
The 48-year-old kicked off her show at Cape Town’s GrandWest Casino; she hit Durban’s ICC and then proceeded to Pretoria on Saturday.
Tamia will perform an extra show on Sunday night at the SunBet Arena due to high demand.
However, attendees were not pleased with her on Saturday as she consistently mixed up SA city names.
“I had so much fun, but Tamia kept saying ‘Johannesburg.’ Organizers? We are Pretoria, bathong,” Karabo Mokgoko tweeted.
@Mpho15967982: “I was cringing so bad. Wanted to somehow take the mic and address that we are not JHB”.
@MbeleLetso: “Bathong, I thought she has learned our Provinces. She has been coming here for so long.”
@kgauzi: “So ignorant.”
This isn’t Tamia’s first time in SA, hence, her audience expected her to be familiar with the city names.
