Mzansi reacts as American rapper Swae Lee thinks Amapaino is a Nigerian sound
American rapper Swae Lee sparked anger in South Africans after tweeting about his plans to jump on Amapiano.
Swae’s desire to jump on Amapiano isn’t the issue for Mzansi, but placing a Nigerian flag beside the genre on his tweet was what triggered people.
South Africans flooded the tweet by correcting him that yano isn’t a Nigerian genre but SA.
“Wait till y’all hear Swae Lee on Amapiano,” he wrote adding a 9ja flag to the tweet.
The comment is filled with South Africans trying to school and correct him.
