J’Something opens up on why his restaurant Artistry makes him happy.
The musician launched the restaurant this year and he has made progress with it.
J works in the kitchen a times and has received help from his wife and mother.
Taking to Instagram, he said:
“I won’t lie man Artistry really makes me happy. It hasn’t got a lot to do with the fact that it’s my joint or anything, but more the energy the place has, the people that are coming, the joy in the air … I feel so at home and easy. So many people come to me and tell me what a dope place it is and the truth is it all comes down TO THE PEOPLE! The @artistryjhb team, the guests, the invited artists and lastly the magic of the moment!”
He appreciates the people who grace the space.
“Feel really thankful for these moments we sharing. Thankful that people are showing up … It’s so scary creating … it’s a vulnerable space to be in with this thrill of the unknown. There’s this element of trust that’s involved that’s very hard to explain but I just wanted you all to know I’m really grateful! I remember so clearly being there when there was nothing and imagining all this sh%^ unfold and truth be told it has all completely been so much more than I expected!”
