Lady Zamar revealed being raped by musician Sjava

Sexual assault happens in every community, and it has eaten deep into the system despite an annual campaign against it, globally.

Wikipedia defines Sexual assault as an act in which one intentionally sexually touches another person without that person’s consent or coerces or physically forces a person to engage in a sexual act against their will.

Men, women, and children can suffer from this hideous plaque, and many have lived with the trauma for years.

According to UN Women, Globally, an estimated 736 million women—almost one in three—have been subjected to physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence, non-partner sexual violence, or both at least once in their life (30 per cent of women aged 15 and older). This figure does not include sexual harassment.
