Kelly Khumalo has been linked to the killing of Senzo Meyiwa.
The Bafana Bafana star was killed in October 2014 at the Khumalo’s house; he was dating Kelly Khumalo who was at the scene of the murder.
Kelly’s sister, Zandie Khumalo who is being cross-examined in court over the trial was also at the house with a few others.
On Friday, 28th of July a state’s witness named Colonel Lambertus Steyn revealed at the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria that there were cellphone links between Kelly and accused number one after Meyiwa was killed.
Steyn said he found two phone calls records to one of Kelly’s cellphones from a number linked to accused number five, Fisokuhle Ntuli. The first call was made on 2 August 2014, the other call was made on 15 October 2014.
He said 4 of the accused know each other and have contacted themselves.
He revealed that accused number 5 had contact with accused number 3, Mthobisi Mncube. In addition, Mncube also had contact with accused number 2, Bongani Ntanzi.
The names of the accused who are suspects of killing Senzo are, Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi, Mthobisi Prince Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa, and Sifisokuhle Nkani Ntuli.
Lambertus Steyn is reportedly based at the national cold case unit and is employed as a data analyst and investigation officer. He focused on cellphone data records of people who were with the Senzo Meyiwa on the night he was killed in Vosloorus at the home of Kelly Khumalo who was his girlfriend.

Kelly khumalo’s phone was wiped the following day after Senzo Meyiwa was shot and killed at her home in Vosloorus.
