Moonchild Sanelly is saddened at how most Amapiano albums don’t hit.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, the South African singer made the claim that most Amapiano projects don’t hit as much as its singles.
Over the years, we’ve witnessed yano songs like Mnike, Asibe Happy, Siyathandana, Tanzania, and many others take over social media platforms in different countries.
However, Sanelly has yet to witness many Amapiano albums reach such heights of success.
She questioned the lyrics of the songs and expressed her disappointment.
“Sadly, Most AMapiano albums as full body of work don’t maintain the singles statuses Why?! I get disappointed just as a writer on some: Didn’t that just Sound like one long song?! Maybe it’s me. Whats worse is I don’t listen to ppls work in general When I do I’m saddened Anyway,” she wrote.
The tweet garnered mixed reactions, but a majority defended the likes of Kabza De Small, Kelvin Momo and a few other Amapiano artists.

Agreed and also i don’t even think Amapiano artists know how to make an album, Kabza just deliver Albums with great singles .. I don’t rate him high on the album standard. I don’t blame em on hardly dropping albums

You’re listening to the wrong Albums or you’re just not that into the genre. Many albums are actually masterpieces.
