Tony Forbes opens up about investigation on AKA’s death
Tony Forbes confirms that investigation is still being carried out on his son, Kiernan AKA Forbes death, but it seems slow.
Speaking to TshishaLIVE, the father of the late star celebrated Kiernan’s recent win, which is Mass Country album reaching Platinum status.
“I feel emotional, proud and also grateful that we had him. Though he died at 35, when he left this life he had made a mark on the world,” he told the publication.
“It’s not about the volume of sales. For me it’s that people want to hear his music, to remember him and feel inspired by him.”
Tony says the investigation is slow but the family is patient with the process.
“There are days where one hopes to hear the news that something happened. But we still want to give the process space. We are in touch with investigators and they keep us abreast, it does seem slow, but it’s only [been] six months.”
