SA Government celebrates trans women on Women’s Day
A South African trans woman caused a stir after wishing other trans women in South Africa a Happy Women’s Day.
Today, 9th of August marks National Women’s Day in SA, and various women have taken to social media to celebrate women.
The South African government celebrated trans women on its official Twitter account by sharing a video of Kacey celebrating trans women.
“Kacey, a transWoman wishes all the trans women of South Africa a happy#WomensDay,” the caption reads.
The video triggered lots of people who slammed the govt for posting such.
The tweeps said today is for women and not trans.
