AKA whose real name was Kiernan Jarryd Forbes released his debut album, Alter Ego 12 years ago.
The 12th anniversary of the project was announced by the Vth Season music company.
The company helped in managing the rapper’s musical affairs before and after his death.
“Happy 12 Year anniversary,” Vth wrote on Instagram.
Fans of the late rapper celebrated the project, and a few mentioned their favourite tracks on the album.

On the 10th of February 2023, AKA was shot and killed in Durban.
The rapper’s father, Tony Forbes recently confirmed that the investigation is ongoing but slow.
However, despite being killed, AKA’s legacy still speaks as his last project was certified platinum.
