Maps Maponyane unmasked on The Masked Singer SA
Maps Maponyane who rocked the tree mask shares his experience after being unmasked on The Masked Singer SA season 1.
The TV personality says he is glad he got unmasked as keeping his identity secret was a difficult task; he had to ignore people who suspected he was behind the mask.
Maps further appreciated the viewers and Anele Mdoda.
“What an experience! Definitely one I’ll never forget. I’m glad I don’t have to hang onto this secret anymore It was so hard lying to/ignoring people (including family and friends) who would constantly ask if I was the Tree and pretending I had no idea what they were talking about Thank you to everyone who watched, and for all the love you showed Tree. Getting to do all of that in front of an audience, while having fun and surprising myself in the process definitely felt like I was living out one of my childhood dreams,” he wrote.
Maponyane says to Anele, “Thank you for the opportunity – You’re in your own league.”
