Oros Mampofu announces his 33rd birthday on Sunday.

The actor didn’t throw a big party but he had a swell experience on his birthday as he marked the special day by spending quality time with his family.

“A year older today.. A WHOLE 33yrs old. Decided to spend this day with the family the lord has given me in his temple. I thank you Lord for all that you’ve poured into my life. I dedicate this precious day to you. Guide me to lead my family for your will,” he wrote.

I am Oros Mampofu. I am an actor, up and coming young entrepreneur and change agent for society. I am best known for his role as Jama, Thabo Maputla’s on the SABC1 soap opera Skeem Saam,

I made my acting debut in the SABC1 drama series Kowethu in 2014, shortly after graduating from AFDA with a degree in Motion Picture and Live Performance.

My breakout year was 2015, in which I began by playing the role of Andile in the Mzansi Magic Original Movie Rise.

In 2016 I landed my first starring role in television in the Mzansi Magic drama series Igazi,
and also starred in the feature-length film The Lucky Specials.

In 2018, I was cast in the lead starring role on the 1Magic drama series Ingoma and also joined the e.tv soapie Rhythm City in the major recurring role of Banele, and so much more.

I am however happiest when contributing to the greater cause and mission and I have worked with many Community Outreach Projects including Nelson Mandela Foundation and Cyril Rhamaposa Foundation.
