Vusi Nova departs Muthaland Entertainment record label after 10 years.
The music company has housed singers like Zola 7, Prophets Of Da City, DJ Cleo and Jozi.
A friend of the singer disclosed to ZiMoja about Vusi’s moves on starting a fresh.
“He is looking for a fresh start, I guess. He parted ways with his manager and DJ a few months ago and he seems to be in a space of wanting change,” the friend says.
“It’s both a good and a bad thing. But one has to plan and a 10-year milestone is a good start.”
Nova is yet to release an official statement confirming his departure, but the record label confirmed to the aforementioned publication.
“Multi-platinum-selling artist, Vusi Nova, began his career at Muthaland Entertainment with his cover of I’d Rather Go Blind in 2013. The hit not only showcased his vocal talents but introduced the star to the world, with his rendition having garnered international attention and interest,” the statement reads.
