7de Laan production has resumed after it was announced on Monday that filming had stopped due to financial disagreements with the SABC bosses.

However, the SABC released a statement about the resumption of production after reaching an agreement with 7de Laan bosses.
“The SABC has been in contact with the producers of 7de Laan and both parties have reached an agreement for the continuation of the production,” reads the statement.
“Both parties will continue to engage to ensure a successful delivery of the show until its termination date scheduled at the end of December.”
Meanwhile, 7de Laan will end this year after running for 23 years.
