Trevor Noah – “I can’t work for government”

Trevor Noah recently clarifies the R33 Million Ad fee while on The Clement Manyathela Show, 702 radio station.

The comedian talked about SA need for tourism, however, he made it clear that he was not approached by the torurims department to promote the country


“Coming out of Covid, South Africa had the lowest rebound rate of any nation in the world that needs tourism as a big part of its GDP.

“We cannot afford to not have tourists in this country,” he added.

Trevor further reacted to how South Africans talked about he fee that was allegedly paid him for the promo.

“South Africans are so traumatised from corruption on every corner and every topic we touch, that everyone thinks everything is connected to corruption somehow in every shape and form,” he added.

Noah concluded, “I can’t work for government because I also want to talk about government.”
