Burna Boy reportedly sold 17,000 tickets for his FNN stadium concert.
It was revealed that the ticket sales was poor, hence the show got cancelled.
A total of 1500 tickets were rumored to be sold. However, Phil Mphela confirmed to the public on Thursday night that the sales were 17,000, which is still a poor sale as the stadium is 96,000 capacity of people.
“17 000 tickets sold for Burna Boy concert Around 17k tickets were sold for the FNB stadium concert that was meant to happen this weekend. The erroneous 1500 number was just a Twitter “joke/jab” that went over many’s heads and became the running number. 17k is still a low number for a stadium capacity,” Phil wrote.
