Maps Maponayne to raise funds for education by cycling from London to Amsterdam
Maps Maponyane will cycle for 4 days from London to Amsterdam.
“Hey Everyone, so I have absolutely no idea what I’m getting myself into, but I know it will be worth it – I am cycling from *LONDON TO AMSTERDAM* – 4 days, 550km,” he wrote.
Maps is undoubtedly scared about it, but the purpose has him motivated.
“To be honest I’m pretty terrified but it’s always a pleasure to go the extra mile (or in this case a little further) for people who make a significant impact to youth and education,” he wrote.
The South African star is riding for an organisation in other to raise funds for education.
“Over the past years the funds raised through the annual ADE Cycle have helped to create the @bridgesformusic , a pioneering creative school in the township of Langa (Cape Town, South Africa), and to sponsor the education of many young underserved creatives.”
“Students will have access to new after-school programs, creative education, daily food, counselling and mindfulness support, keeping them away from the streets where they often are exposed to gang violence and crime.,” he added.
Maps Maponyane seeks for support as he prepares for his 4 days journey to Amsterdam.
