2Faced, the new musical duo trend on social media after their first gig.
Over the past weekend, the duo – Thulisile Phongolo and Slenda Da Dancing DJ announced coming together to form a duo like the famous TxC.
However, the two will be mixing Amapiano and Gqom sound to serve their audience.
Videos of their first gig have gone viral on social media with a majority expressing disappointment at DJ Maphorisa’s ex girlfriend.
“Ever since Uncle Waffles had that one video that went viral, a lot of female DJs have been trying to re-create it. They’ve been doing nothing but failing. That moment had God involved, it came at the perfect time and it was well documented. It’s not easy,” says a tweep.

What i like about Thuli Phongolo is that she is iphanta, she leaves no stone unturned, from Acting, MC, now she is a DJ.

However, Thuli Phongolo revealed after the gig that she isn’t a good dancer.
“Thuli: Slenda I can’t dance, ngicela amaDance move abelula for mina?
Slenda: Hayi ieasy ke le sthandwa sam, uzoyishaya!”
“BUT the mixing is clean, the music is good, the transition from Piano to Gqom is fire and the energy wakes the crowd up! @2faced_sa is innovative, two unique South African genres infused in a collaborative way that allows both genres to shine! See you again this weekend,” she wrote.
