Trevor Noah’s tourism advert for South Africa

Trevor Noah finally creates the advert to promote South Africa in collaboration with the Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA) and Tourism Marketing South Africa (TOMSA).

The video went live last week and it’s garnered various reactions from viewers.

The news about the advert broke out a few months ago, and the comedian was dragged alongside the government for splurging R33 Million on the advert.

However, the ad video is out and it’s garnered various reactions from South Africans.

While some people applauded Trevor for a proper delivery, others slammed him for not focusing on the problems in the country.

Presenter Zanele wrote, “I’m in South Africa but after watching this … I’m also booking my trip to SA ASAP.”

“It’s disappointing that you haven’t said a word about the genocide happening.. as one of your biggest fans I gotta say I’m really disappointed,” Leenkoub commented.

“The only thing missing in this ad is the best thing: The People!” another wrote.

“R34 million that could have built people houses gone,” reads a comment.

“I mean I live in South Africa, but I feel like I need to go to South Africa after seeing this ad.”
