Basetsama Kumalo’s son, Nkosinathi Gabriel Kumalo graduates Michaelhouse.
The excited businesswoman gave a glimpse into the graduation ceremony, and narrated how her son insisted on attending the school.
“You were only 13 when you did your own research and asked to be given an opportunity to study at Michaelhouse, the school of your choice. You gave us a 10 powerpoint presentation on the why,” she wrote.
Basetsana sayss she is proud of her son’s choice.
“Thursday marked the end of your schooling career. You were brave to ask to go to boarding school. You were only 14 when you left home, today you are an 18 year old young man. Super proud of you for the choice that you made and seeing it through.Your strength of character is something I marvel at. You are destined for greatness.{
“You have a firm foundation to go and pursue your dreams. The values of our school of integrity, humility, courage, compassion and service to mankind will hold you in good stead. Seeing you take the Warriors Walk out of the school gate was emotional mixed with tears of joy and gratitude.”
