The South African music industry has existed for decades; witnessing the rise and fall of many talented artists.

Over the years, we’ve recorded the fall of many artists due to their untimely deaths, but it’s quite saddening to see artists who are alive but with dead music careers.

In no time, these artists lost relevance in the music game and people easily moved on to the hot musicians.

The cause of this is usually not revealed by the artists, but some of the reasons include, record labels, music hiatus, relationships, zero hit songs, management, and a few others.

Some of these artists who have lost relevance are still in the game; releasing songs annually, but we hope they resuscitate their careers.

Kwesta was one of the top rappers in the game; his unique voice shook mountains and the hearts of men. Months ago, he celebrated over a decade in the game, but the question here is, is the legend as hot as he used to be?

4. SHO MADJOZI

Sho’s major breakthrough song was “John Cena”; she has released other songs after that but it appears that her businesses are making more waves than her music career.
