Zakes Bantwini gets dragged by social media users for gatekeeping Dr Mbongeni Ngema’s death.
On Wednesday evening, the music producer dropped a tweet that hinted at the passing of a star.
“Noooo man not again,” he wrote, without including the name.
Angry tweeps flooded the tweet with questions and curiosity; the DJ was further slammed for leaving people on suspense.
“Tweet is useless without context,” a tweep wrote.
“I love your music and I think you cool Bhut’ Zakhele kodwa we need you to stop doing this because now we are left to wonder who you are talking about. It’s not cool at all,” another wrote.

However, it was revealed shortly after Zakes’ tweet that the legendary musician, actor and producer Dr Ngema died in a car accident on Wednesday evening.
