Mondli Ngcobo reacts to allegations of being abusive to his baby mama Mandisa “Mandy” Malebo before her passing.
Mandy died last week; it was reported that she took her life after a long battle with depression.
Social media users dragged the music producer for being a deadbeat dad and not being available for his baby mama.
Mondli shared a statement stating that has nothing to do with her death.
The family gave him permission to reveal the cause of death.
Mandy fell ill after “complaining about a bubbling sensation in her stomach” and was hospitalised on December 27. She died later when her health deteriorated.
“I have heard all kinds of hurtful speculations about the cause of death and about me, but I urge you to give her family space and grace to mourn the loss. I am waiting for her family to finalise the details of laying her to rest and I will share it with you accordingly. Thank you,” he wrote.
