Mthandeni asks fans to forgive Khuzani for winning Song of the Year

Maskandi artist Mthandeni “Igcokama Elisha” Manqele pleads with his fans to forgive his rival, Khuzani Mpungose.

Mthandeni celebrates the success of his song, iParis which is currently on 12 million views on YouTube, and over 3 million streams worldwide.

During the celebration of the success of iParis which features singer Lwah Ndlunkulu, at his homestead in Nhlwathi in Hluhluwe in the far north of KwaZulu Natal (KZN), the star begs his fans to forgive Khuzani for winning the Song of The Year competition on Ukhozi FM.

“Before I get any further, let me first ask you to forgive maskandi artist, Khuzani. It is wrong to throw cans at him and to boo him. I hereby ask you to forgive him. As a public figure, I have to lead by example. I hope that he will also forgive you. I do not condone what you did in Richards Bay and it must be called out because I am against it,” he said.

Khuzani won the Ukhozi FM Song of the Year competition for the second time on 31 December.
