Emtee clears the air on his timeline following requests to spit bars.
Taking to Twitter, the South African star whose real name is Ndevu Mthembeni stated that he isn’t a rapper who spits bars.
Emtee says he is a hip-hop artist, hence people should stop asking him to spit bars.
He further highlights his other talents.
“I’m not a rapper. I’m a hip-hop artist. Stop asking me to “spit some bars” when you see me. TF!? I’m a songwriter. Certified hit maker,” he wrote.
Fans hyped him in the comment, while a few others poked fun at him.
The rap star is excited about the new year as he promises to release two projects which include the DIY3 album.
Emtee recently tweeted after sharing snippets of himself cooking new songs.
“I feel like I’m back. The music I’m making lately SMH. Uniggas in trouble.”
