Dricus Du Plessis speaks hours after making history with the UFC title win.
The South African star defeated American Sean Strickland to win the middleweight title during UFC 297 in Toronto on Saturday.
Dricus returned to social media and expressed excitement for the history made.
He says it’s an honour to represent South Africa.
“History has been made🇿🇦 This is Africa we fear nothing and certainly no one!! Thank you South Africa, it’s an honor representing our beautiful nation,” he wrote.
