Sex in a swimming pool sounds fun, cool and thrilling of course. However, there are several things that must be considered.

Here are some do’s and don’ts that must be considered if you want to have a memorable time in the swimming pool.

With the summer heat here to kill the joy, a session in the pool is the most enticing. So scroll down to know what all is to be kept in mind and have fun!

1. Try difficult positions

Thanks to the principle of buoyancy when it comes to water, in a swimming pool, you can pull off some of the most difficult sex positions. You can easily pick up your partner, and move him or her around and both will feel weightless too.

2. Bring lubes with you

Sex in water is not fun especially for the receiver as water takes away the natural lubrication of a vagina and can lead to abrasions, tears in the skin, yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. This is why, carrying a lube with you is essential. A condom will also help and make sure your lube is silicone-based underwater.

3. No sex if you can’t swim

If you cannot swim then there is no way you must try having sex in water as there is a lot of tossing, turning, twisting, and slipping involved.

4. Use private pools

If you thought you can have sex in a public pool then it would be a mistake because community pools are the dirtiest! They are extremely unhygienic. So, use private pools, and book a villa with a pool if you can for the best experience. You get privacy and hygiene both!

5. Check for chlorophyll

It would be best if you get into a pool that does not have chemicals like chlorophyll because they will directly touch your skin and private parts and during sex, the water will go inside your body too. Medically we cannot tell you what can happen but logically, any chemical going inside your body is bad.

Why do we discourage pool sex?

Pool sex sounds fun and wild but the truth is, it is associated with many health risks. We have chemicals, and poolside products and then we cannot rule out the effectiveness of condoms which is reduced in the pool. It also makes STO transmission and pregnancy risk high.
