President Cyril Ramaphosa expresses excitement and congratulates Tyla for her Grammy win.
The singer won the Best African Music Performance for her song Water, defeating the Nigerian singers in the category; they include Ayra Starr, Davido and Asake.
Taking to Twitter, Ramaphosa wrote:

She is the youngest African to win such a prestigious award, adding herself to list of eminent South African artists and musicians who have made an indelible mark on the world stage.”
