Itumeleng Khune celebrates his late sister Mpula Khune on her birthday.
The South African soccer star shared a photo of the deceased and captioned it with words of tribute to her.
“Wishing my angel sister a happy birthday in heaven. I know you’re watching over us with love from up above. My heart is filled with memories of you today,” he wrote.

Mpula died in 2021 at their grandmother’s house in Venterdorp.
“At 5am on Thursday we received a call about a lot of smoke coming from a backroom in Tshing. The police broke down the door and found a 27-year-old burnt inside the room. Unfortunately, the lady had already died when the police arrived,” report read.
