Thabo Smol on Murdah Bongz’s exit from Black Motion
Thabo Smol opens up on Black Motion’s break up.
The award-winning music duo Thabo and Murdah Bongz split two years ago, and the news shocked their fans as they’ve been together for over a decade.
Speaking on Podcast and Chill with Mac G, Smol said Murdah didn’t leave because of his wife, DJ Zinhle but it was all a misunderstanding.
The music producer said Morda thought they were paid for a project and was not given his share of the money; hence he entered the studio and went with the music equipment.
Thabo Smol tried not to taint Murdah’s brand and he said he is positive about his return to Black Motion.
Meanwhile, Murdah Bongz has rebranded his solo career and renamed himself Morda.
Morda has recorded laudable success as a solo artist; he’s worked on international projects and still performs at gigs.
