DJ Zinhle says Pearl Thusi is her favourite DJ
DJ Zinhle expresses excitement at her friend Pearl Thusi’s new career.
The actress announced on Monday that she’s officially started DJing and she had her first official gig over the weekend.
Taking to Twitter, Zinhle congratulates her friend and named her her favourite DJ.
“My new favourite DJ: Mamma Pantha. @PearlThusi we are gonna so much fun,” the business woman tweeted.
Twitter users reacted to Pearl’s stage name, suggesting that she use her name instead of Mama Panther, while a few others loved the stage name and don’t want it altered.
Meanwhile, Pearl penned a note of inspiration about her new musical journey on Instagram.
“GODS TIMING IS PERFECT!!! DELAY IS NOT DENIAL. TRUST THE PROCESS,” she wrote.
“Was playing Imithandazo to end my set, o had to thank God for carrying me through that hour. I’ve made a dream come true. Whether this makes sense to you or not… worry about yourself and making your dreams come true. I pray this convinces you to never give up on what you want to achieve.”
“I was always so worried about what everyone would say about this decision- for nearly a decade. Angisanandaba nezinkulumo zabantu… I practiced until I couldn’t stand anymore… I’m so happy because I overcame the fear of judgement- forgetting that only God has the right to judge me. I’m free,” she concludes.
