Tebogo Thobejane says she’s dealing with a lot
Tebogo Thobejane breaks her silence over reports of being broke in Dubai.
The actress left the country for months due to threats to her life.
Zimoja reports that sources close to the actress said she’s struggling with the lifestyle in Dubai.
Taking to social media on Monday night, in a now-deleted-post, the former Muvhango star addressed the report.
Tebogo admits in the statement that her life has taken a different turn and she is dealing with a lot.
However, she slammed the media for being bullies.
“I’m currently dealing with a lot as everyone is concerned about my survival and financial struggles. Let’s address this head-on. My life has been turned upside down, and my misery seems to be a popular narrative,” she wrote.
Tebogo briefly talked about the attack she suffered a few months ago in SA, where bullets were sprayed at her car.
“1 was attacked and am now dealing with extreme anxiety while trying to put my life back together. I understand I signed up to be a public figure, and my life is part of your entertainment. Fair enough.”
She also said that she has a pending case in court and further slammed reports of relocating outside the country.
“I don’t often discuss it, but I have a pending case and am focusing on my family and, of course, building my career.”
Tebogo concluded her statement by saying that she embraces any donation made to her.
“I never mentioned leaving the country, and this narrative needs to stop. After the trauma l’ve been through, I have the right to heal. Rather than focusing on me, let’s address the issues in our country, where women are constantly being killed. But, if I’m struggling financially, donations are welcome”
